  • If you’re riding in über wet conditions, would your mudguard not direct some water right at the curve of the back of the light?

    Not that I’m blaming you, the lights should be wayyy more waterproof, considering they’re designed to stay on the bikes, and made in a country where utility cycling is really normal (a lot of bikes live outside all the time in NL, DE, DK etc).

    Are you saying that water is going to come the whole way around my mudguard, then up and into the lamp body?

    Not something I've noticed-in my mind most wheel spray stays in the third of the wheel from point of contact with road to mid downtube-bike mostly kept inside.
