Explain that the cost of repair is equivalent to the new bag. It is, by the way. If I had to do that for you it would take literal days of gentle application, with no guarantee.

Unfortunately I cannot find a link to the bag online - it's last season, and Hackett seem to have exterminated any reference to it.

Contact their customer service, and/or find a link to the current similar replacement bag, preferably more expensive.
