I’ve heard of people using coins to remove the preload bolt.
If it’s really stuck I’d be tempted to punch a hole in the middle of it then cut it out or use a large screw driver to turn it. Nasty.
You can’t turn them if the pinch bolts are all but removed.

I have a light like this that I bought from Ebay:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/HLLP-Powerful-Rainproof-Headlight-Rechargeable/dp/B076V66JSV/ref=zg_bs_550001011_39?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=HS2XN845AN4ECPM3M1D3and the light is ace, but the battery only lasts an hour, even on low setting. can someone point me towards a reputable battery pack that will work with this, and last a good few hours for night rides?

Is the battery pack just multiple 18650 batteries (they do tend to be)? If so, replace them with some better ones, this is a reputable seller https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/big_f_d_d/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_ipg=&_from=
Lots of the cheap knackered ones are taken from old laptop batteries.

ah maybe, I haven't taken it apart to look yet.
Which number relates to battery capacity (as in amount of charge) when I'm looking? -
• #93437
The mAh figure is how long it will last for. The higher the better.

It will leave a noticeable mark where the leather will react with the spirit. Less is less is more. Could be extra careful, and trace along the pen line, probably near-impossible without some art tools (sponge tipped pens etc).
Bugger.

Can you go back to the hotel and say you visited an ‘expert’ that said it would not be possible to remove, and you’d like the value of the bag back?
Explain that the cost of repair is equivalent to the new bag. It is, by the way. If I had to do that for you it would take literal days of gentle application, with no guarantee.

Do we have a thread to post photos of amazing old junk (non cycling) we find in the house/IRL?

Unfortunately I cannot find a link to the bag online - it's last season, and Hackett seem to have exterminated any reference to it.

I find lots of brands do that, it's incredibly infuriating.
I hate... thread

Contact their customer service, and/or find a link to the current similar replacement bag, preferably more expensive.

Chick peas can be eaten straight from tin?
-
• #93446
Yes, although I think they're much nicer when processed in some way.

suggest that if they don't expedite the replacement of your bag, you will be recommending to the purchasing officer of the company you work for that they review their relationship with your hotel that you and other members of management use regularly.
money talks.
etc.

Hi
Can anyone recommend a good honest LBS in North London? I'm in archway and need some repairs.
Thankyou

Giant Kentish Town. Say you from Northampton.
thanks for the info - but still need to get existing crank out with over tightened nut that the plastic shimano tool will not get out .... hence the reason for wanting metal one to get it out.
