I’ve heard of people using coins to remove the preload bolt.
If it’s really stuck I’d be tempted to punch a hole in the middle of it then cut it out or use a large screw driver to turn it. Nasty.
You can’t turn them if the pinch bolts are all but removed.
thanks! i tried all ways, bolts in, bolts out - whoever did it really tightened it up. i've bought a metal version of the remover from germany, will give that a go.
