Hi all,
I'm doing some rattle can work and looking for somewhere which will cut and ship small quantities of masking vinyl to the UK. Preferably fully self-service online as I'm just messing around.
Does anyone know of a place? I've been googling but overwhelmingly finding window / car / stationary stickers, I haven't seen anyone offering low-adhesive masking materials.
Eventually I'll get round to a thread on my adventure with spray.bike cans, if anyone's interested. Today's lesson: after "good-from-far" success with hand cut stencils, I went to rub down with alcohol to remove any greasy fingerprints before the clear lacquer goes on and... well it turns out that isopropyl alcohol is an effective solvent for the pigments too. So bye bye crisp clear decals, hello streaky smudges everywhere.
If I'm going to do the whole thing again, I want smoother, computer cut curves this time! Still not sure how to clean between coats if I can't use alcohol or white spirits though. Maybe I'll be able to apply properly cut masks while wearing latex gloves.
