They're great, mine gets way more use than my DSLR did in recent years.

Yep, I'm very excited.
Hopefully I'll get some dollar back for my old entry-level DSLR, off the ebay maybe.

Has anyone got any recommendations for a camera case and lens pouches? Last time I went away I took a DLSR, 2 film cameras and various lenses wrapped in t-shirts in my rucksack which was less than ideal.

Well two pages upthread people just recommended Optech USA lens pouches.
If I did bring cameras anywhere I brought them in my padded camera bag.
I guess my recommendation is to get a proper camera bag?

Ever had it from the Lebanese grill takeaway at the end of New Kent Rd before the Bricklayers overpass/roundabout? I think I preferred them to Bay Root down the end of Walworth Rd, though Bay Root do some excellent dishes.

Ahh. I’ve not been to that one. It’s over a year since I was last in Berlin. Ostkreuz/Kreuzberg area is great, I love it. Also loads of great spots along Hermannstraße near Tempelhof.

The X100F has a nice (and rather old fashioned) pleather case, which is on two parts. The lower part stays on, top snaps on with magnets- I always travel with it just in my bag, in said case. I don’t always use it, mind, but I bought it for travel.

This has definitely been asked 400000 times in this thread, if I want an entry ish DSLR that’ll take decent enough photos, what am I looking at?
Does any one have a cheapish carbon tripod recommendation?
