Really enjoying Spiderman, combat feels like you're overwhelmed until you get some muscle memory going but even so you'll be button mashing for a while when the crowds get too big and the bullets are flying.
story is told in same way to last of us with cutscenes and interactive quicktime events but they're well done and feel engaging, not felt like i needed to skip anything as it was taking too long or that I was just a spectator to the main storyline.
the open map missions are spoon fed to you so you only earn certain tokens once you get to specific part of the way through the main story mission and open up power ups and skills gradually.
I think once its done it'll feel a little empty as the side missions are quite repetitive but while you're playing you feel like there's a decent amount to do in the moment.
swinging through the city is like sunset overdrive in that once you get the hang of it you zoom about all over the terrain feeling like there's literally nothing in your way (though when stuff does get in your way it will really annoy you looking at you fire escapes).
after a days play I give it 8/10 but that may go down as well as up by the time i finish.
