I did a research on this few weeks back and apparently no.
It might be a bit faster on loadings and stuff, but the actual most important thing - graphic enhancement - you can only see with 4K TV.

I caved and bought Spider-Man, it's good fun. Reminds me of Infamous Second Son.
Only put an hour or so in, but have Monday off work, pretty much to play it.

Really enjoying Spiderman, combat feels like you're overwhelmed until you get some muscle memory going but even so you'll be button mashing for a while when the crowds get too big and the bullets are flying.
story is told in same way to last of us with cutscenes and interactive quicktime events but they're well done and feel engaging, not felt like i needed to skip anything as it was taking too long or that I was just a spectator to the main storyline.
the open map missions are spoon fed to you so you only earn certain tokens once you get to specific part of the way through the main story mission and open up power ups and skills gradually.
I think once its done it'll feel a little empty as the side missions are quite repetitive but while you're playing you feel like there's a decent amount to do in the moment.
swinging through the city is like sunset overdrive in that once you get the hang of it you zoom about all over the terrain feeling like there's literally nothing in your way (though when stuff does get in your way it will really annoy you looking at you fire escapes).
after a days play I give it 8/10 but that may go down as well as up by the time i finish.

Katamari Damacy remake announced for Switch coming in winter.
Am I only fan on here? Can’t wait.

I played Touch My Katamari on the Vita, batshit craYzy, but good fun.
Will probably pick up a Switch version. -

Now up to the final mission on Spiderman (it tells you to finish upgrading before the final fight when you try to start it).
Have unlocked all abilities, gadgets and 80% of the gadget add-ons, all side-missions done except getting highest score on the challenge missions and the randomly activated faction crimes around the map. would say another 3-5 hours and I'll have 100% everything.
Still really enjoying it, the story progresses nicely, the boss fights are a bit on rails but fun, the challenge side missions are pure rage fuel and easily the hardest part of the game.
my biggest criticism is that by the time i've unlocked everything there will literally be nothing left on the map other than to fight randomly spawning groups of enemies which don't give any reward or to replay missions i've already done with no ramp up in difficulty.
overall though worth a purchase and will definitely pick up the dlc which i've seen for sale but not sure when it comes out or if it is out already.

think i read they are adding an ng+. So hopefully you'll be able to replay everything with all you unlocked goodies
-
• #19544
yeah it would make sense. it's a common flaw in games though that you max out after everything is said & done.
sometimes being able to unlock all the skills earlier on and then unlock harder challenges as you progress would be better as it gives you a chance to learn the mechanics of the stuff you unlocked and improve with it as the going gets tougher.
the difficulty level is pretty flat across the game once all factions are on the ground.

Well after after a Western TV/film binge I got round to playing Red Dead Redemption. First game I've played for well over a year I think. And possibly first horse-based game. The whole shooting people and escaping thing makes rather more sense in a Westen than GTA etc. Shame I didn't realise you could play it on PC before.
(PlayStation Now, guess I will go over 7 days free trial. Bit clunky though, you get kicked off if you leave it idling for too long, save and load take longer than you'd expect being on the cloud somewhere).

Still doing the trials of musphelheim, stuck on the one where you have to kill 100 enemies, got to five away and then got slashed. Arghhhhh!
Am now stuck in “must finish level”mode.. -
• #19547
Horizon 4 (demo, released yesterday) is the first Forza game that I've managed to run in surround. All previous ones had crashed after the loading screens. Am amazed it manages 60fps at 7680x1440, the dynamic optimisation thing is some strong voodoo.
Bit unfortunate one of my screens is on the blink. Might have to swap the left and right ones to limit the damage.
As for the game itself, very familiar feeling. Other than the cars and characters (typically annoying) they seem to have recreated some sort of 1950s version of Britain. Not a single village appears to have a SPAR, or even more strangely considering the context, an Esso garage with a mini-mart.
Also very little respect shown for the great British dry stone wall, which despite having stood for centuries, behaves like cardboard boxes when driven into.

100% spiderman, all trophies, missing two 3 star challenges and the photo and newspaper collectibles which dont seem to give you anything.
final word on the game... the suit you get for completing the story is almost worth all the effort (for novelty at least)..
-
• #19549
How can you be 100% but missing things? Game is broke.
-
• #19550
Screw you. just went and got all the papers and the photos as well heh (did get another suit for the photos that i didn't know about). the only reason to 3 star the last 2 challenges is to get more tokens and there's nothing left to spend them on and they are impossible.
i'm officially done now.
Am just logging on for an hour (pubg) if anyone wants to get involved in the VSS event mode. Quite quick silly fun. Or a couple of sanhok matches.
