  • Think there are "friends" on here with that kind of kit. Will investigate when I get nearer the key moment. Also thinking of a stencil, but that might be pushing my painting skillz.

  • That paint looks amazing! I feel like you could do something more exciting with the decals though, they seem a bit understated for such a lairy bike. Maybe a matching fluro yellow/green on the black top tube for contrast? I'd have gone for something more similar to the font of the original decals as well.
Looking forward to seeing this built up!

  • I agree, I had these done for free by a friend that only had access to white or black vinyl.

Didn’t think of fluo, good idea!

  • Received the missing parts last week, so built it and rode it last weekend, I had forgotten how compact and responsive it was! Very smooth ride, some tweaks here and there but am definitely in love with it!

Had some time to take pics:

    A few more here.

  • Looks rad asf!!

  • Even better than the original. Good job

  • That looks great.

Why are the seatstays not brazed in place where they meet the seat tube?

  • Looks fantastic, inline seatpin ftw.

  • Thanks!

@tallsam don't know why, or if there's an advantage/inconvenience to it.. maybe just a framebuilder's whim?
