I suspect this has defeated several forum-behinds. Could be tamed by someone with a derriere hardened as an anvil. Free to collect in town (St Pancras).

Nice one. If it really is that tough, then you could always try a bit of neatsfoot oil to soften it up. Not too much though, as there's a risk it could over-stretch it.
