Make a claim with PayPal now, if you still can as it is time limited from the date of transaction. He'll get a notification from them too.

Within 180 days I think

@Ticutzugoodfella Although admittedly it did take me a while to package and send it off- you mentioned you were in no rush to recieve it and that I should take my time. I have since sent it off, I will dig up the tracking number when I have time. I am guessing you havn't received it, so I can try to find out what's happened if thats the case.
I don't really appreciate you putting me on this thread without even sending a PM first.

In over 3 months I have sent you 3 PMs. I think it's more than enough. Not replying to them made me to get worried. I told you there's no rush and that my deadline is the 1st of august. You didn't reply to the last one over 30 days ago when I even asked you if you're OK. You seam to be breathing but not typing. If you were in my shoes you would have done it earlyer. Please check your inbox. I bought over 15 M42 lenses from diferent sellers in the UK and it never took more than 4 weeks to arrive to Bucharest...

I make that 2 PM's since you paid in 3 months but none in the last month. To be fair I should have responded and I didn't infact see the last one. I have been very busy and so I don't actively check the forum, I would only ever check if I get LFGSS email.
In any case I had sent it off to be dispatched by then. I will check the tracking tomorrow if I have time but it should arrive with you..

“Not in a rush” does not mean 3 months, it means, send it off when convenient (within reason).
3 months?!? Are you actually serious?
-
• #4808
I will check the tracking tomorrow if I have time
Seriously? It takes 30 seconds to post the tracking number to confirm you have actually posted it.
This guy has been waiting 3 months to receive a frameset from you and you can’t take 30 seconds out of your “busy” day to post the tracking number.

You don't need to guess whether @Ticutzugoodfella hasn't received it as it's plainly obvious. And the least that you can do is find out what's happened.
I don't really appreciate you putting me on this thread without even sending a PM first.
You have not responded to PMs, parts that have been bought from you have not arrived and it would appear that because you have been highlighted as a bad trader, this is the only reason for any response from you now.
The buyer has had the good grace to wait 3 months before placing you in this thread.
@zachman123 - What on earth do you expect @Ticutzugoodfella to do in these circumstances?

I am very sorry to @Ticutzugoodfella for all of this and on reflection it is totally deserved and fair to be on here. The package is still in transit and should be with you before Thursday this week, if it is not I will happily give a full refund. I will pm tracking

then...
I will check the tracking tomorrow if I have time
I'm afraid to tell you @zachman123, you're a bad trader.

@GwGs I agree completely. I have pm'd the tracking I apologise profusely for the situation to @Ticutzugoodfella, who has been nothing but understanding. I also apologise for being hasty yesterday, I had a bad day and having slept on it I realised I am totally in the wrong - it took me an absurd amount of time to post- and I deserve to be on (and stay on) the thread. As I mentioned if he doesn't get it this week (projected by parcel2go) then I will give a full refund, I will also refund if he does not want the frame having taken so long.

Can't say fairer than that!

Last year, I ordered two 32 H rims from a vendor, two rims arrived in good time. It took me a while to get the other wheel components together. It's over a year since I received the rims. I sent these off to be built only to be informed that one is actually 36 H. The vendor refuses to take any action due to the time frame. Does this qualify them as a bad trader or is this reasonable? In the end I haven't got what I paid for.

From a shop or eBay or what?
The law in the UK I believe entitles a customer to claim for a refund up to 6 years after purchased if items are faulty!
Which includes not as described.
However, after 6 months from purchase the responsibility shifts from the seller to the customer to prove that the item was faulty at the time of purchase and provide proof of purchase etc.
I’m not sure whether you’d need to prove that the rim is the same one you bought from them and that it was faulty all along. You may have trouble doing that. Also I don’t know if this applies at all if it is a private sale.
-
• #4816
Private sale, after a year? U mad bro?
Buyer has a responsibility to check they're happy when they receive it, not x weeks/months/years down the line. Shit situation if you didn't notice when you got something but if it were me I'd just put it down to experience and suck it up. If they were faulty and had been repaired/hidden so it wasn't visible/immediately apparent that might be something else.
-
• #4817
Exactly. I said that’s for shops and I don’t know about private sales. But if it were me I wouldn’t bother and I’d just sell it
-
• #4818
This is not from a private sale but is from abroad so I have no way of forcing the issue and I suppose it's up to the vendor if they don't want to send another one. I'll know to count the holes in everything from now on. It is a fairly shitty situation since the front wheel was already built up when the builder noticed, hence now no matching wheels after a lot of effort and cash. However, there are worse things, the best revenge is a happy life etc.
-
• #4819
Well now I've cheered up a bit, obviously what I'm actually going to do is find the rim elsewhere and complete that set and then probably find another 36 H one and build up that pair as well.....
-
• #4820
What rim? Flog it and buy new one?
-
• #4821
Araya RC-540, I might just sell it yeah. Always big customs and postage charges with this stuff but I'll for sure buy it again so long as it's from another vendor.

@walkmanman
Unreasonable time waster. Intentionally withholding essential information nessesary for a sale. Rambling protracted poor communication. -

His profile, is, ummmm, interesting.

I had a weird experience with this guy after a simple misunderstanding a few years back. I bent over backwards to apologise and got a load of slightly agressive rambling messages.
-
• #4825
I also had a similar experience @winnifred0001.
Changed his mind about a sale because he got 'the 'ump' when I didn't engage in the same degree of rambling about his life story. A few passive aggressive insults later, he refunded me.
Can PM the conversation if anyone wants a laugh.
The first transaction was for goods, the other two I don't remember. I still hope he will see this and respond. Thank you all for the support. Has anybody else bought parts from that bike???
