So bit the bullet and got one from eglobal for £235 6gb/64gb, turns out the actual unit is the slight bigger then my MI A1 so not as massives as I thought. Not the biggest fan of MIUI buts its come on leaps and bounds from when I first tried it. It's really bloody speedy no lags no issues so far, great battery decent camera. Reminds me of my faithful Nexus 6p.

Nice! Can't see it at that price though, do you have a link? I just had a poke around on XDA but it looks like there's no actual ROMs for it yet, just TWRP. If you do plan on flashing a new ROM at some point I'd recommend unlocking the bootloader now because it can take up to 3 months to get approved.
Same, it's not terrible as the screen goes right to the edges, but would still prefer smaller. Sadly it's getting pretty hard to find phones under 6" with decent specs.
