That's only auctions prices and less produced cameras. It is difficult to find these cameras on others platforms.
You can find mint Mju 2 in box in garage sale for 10-30€ and you surely now that. But for a Yashica T4 or a Ricoh GR1... -
• #1004
Im gonna out and say I really like my T2 and the results, the worst part is when they just fuckin brick out of nowhere. Its a very expensive shitshow.
-
• #1005
The price will go down when everyone has forgotten about Kendall Jenner and 18 year olds get bored of film.
-
• #1006
Not fast enough, Ive got another en its road out sadly.
-
• #1007
people said this 2yrs ago when you could buy a mamiya 7 and lens for sub £1k
-
• #1008
there is a 7ii with 80mm in aperture for £2499!
-
• #1009
aperture have gone so downhill
they used to give fair prices to buyer and seller.
and they used to let you do commission sales where you set the price. I sold an expensive lens that way, set the price high and after 6 months someone took the bait and paid a good load for it.
now they won't do commission unless it's mad £££ and their prices are too high -
• #1010
How much is a Mamiya 7 now ?
-
• #1011
too much to bother
smart money is on a fuji gf670w or the voigtlander equivalent
whatever you do don't buy a plaubel makina -
• #1012
fuji gf670
I have one spare, y no makina out of curiosity?
-
• #1013
me too
aperture offered 1200 for a mint one with the box and everything, lol
makina is possibly the least unreliable camera ever manufactured -
• #1014
least unreliable
so...they never break? (I jest)
-
• #1015
ha, good spot
seriously, don't buy one -
• #1016
I've never paid more than 80 pounds for a camera, so really not on my radar at £1000+
Although you seem to have a grip on cameras generally, is there anything very cheap worth looking at for getting into medium format? Just for messing about mostly, so nothing pricey
-
• #1017
Mamiya C220 with the 80mm lens, you should be able to pick one up for £200 odd
-
• #1018
They are ridiculous now
-
• #1019
Which high-end, fixed focal length p&S remain (relatively) free of hipster tax ?
mjµ1? big mini? espio mini? AF3?
Are there any wild-cards too, is the Panasonic C-625AF any good? -
• #1020
Yeah but what about changing lens ? Is the gf670 a good camera ? User friendly ?
-
• #1021
Sorry I keep the secret for me.
The Pana seems really cheap. -
• #1022
L35AF is still relatively reasonable. Tina seems to rate it highly. I mean, it's not HIGH end e.g. doesn't have a Nikkor but photos from them are very nice indeed.

Any TLR in a flea market/garage sell/second hand shop not specialized. On ebay, prices are high.
-
• #1024
The GF670 is great. A favourite of Mark Steinmetz.

Just see somebody selling one for 1200€ but the slide of the bellow are broken.
So you can buy a mint Mju II for half of the next cheapest.
Not such bad value maybe ;-)
