I am actually making it future compatible for a carbon fork if an non-ugly Spork is made .. tbh it depends on if I feel like I need to upgrade to carbon which I doubt I will.
This fork is cheaper than Parlee or Spork btw. All mods and cons.

Now the tricky thing is to balance fit and trail for front loading, wont be heavier than 5kg.
Also create 'space' for the rando bag and VO decaleur with bar width, stem length and angle.

Same, although I'm guessing theres nothing off the shelf that will look anything like ameys inspo ones

I might be wrong but I think Unicrown forks are easier/cheaper to make and paragon sells a tapered HT ..

Yeah, I am thinking of making the Talbot a proper commuter with flat bars when I move anyway and then buying an actual road bike because Serotta's are aplenty on eBay. So, a steel fork and rack would help this.

Winter, mosaic, Igleheart charge in the region of $400-$500 for a fork like that.

Yeah I mean a segmented Igleheart is lifegoals

Can someone please explain what the actual fuck the point of a steel fork is in 2018?

No1 makes a fork that can have:
- 12x100 thru axle
- flat mount
- rack compatible and front luggage
- low trail
- internally dynamo cable routing
- not ugly
in carbon yet.

I have a Spork, it's painted the same colour as the frame and I don't think it looks ugly.

I expect you already know, but Matt does make a tapered Unicrown fork. You might want it slightly shorter than 470mm a-c though..

Wouldn't be for a few months and I'll no longer be in the UK so would still get an Igleheart.

I have always wanted to get a ti frame painted silver.

Flat mount will be available later on this year apparently. Unpainted Ti frames with black forks all look the same though.

• #2893
I'll buy it once available

Doesn't have all the braze ons that you have mentioned, but ticks most of your boxes.

The segmented forks on your porteur are way nicer IMHO.

That's a lovely thing to say! Thank you.

Don't get involved with Amey's build, Ames - it's a black hole.
This is making me want to ditch my Parlee fork and get a steel tapered thing.
