I have just ordered a pair of Tektro 926AL which are 4mm shorter than the TRPs. And I have 41c Knards.

This ain't gonna work, is it?

So, they fit, just, if I don't use the little rubber sleeves.

A) will foregoing the rubber sleeves kill me?
B) will the lack of much clearance kill me?

Can anyone confirm that the stock Specialized Langster (2015) bottom bracket square taper type is definately JIS? I can't find anything online to confirm.

this looks great, ill zap them some money. sadly i'm no longer local to the area but it's absolutely where I'd be looking should I ever move back to manc. I found the community spirit around there inspirational during my uni days and I'm really pleased that this is happening.

There's a bunch of new stuff on the cards nearby, although station south is defo the coolest.

My belated 2¢: if you've got a pump peg on the headtube, the handle normally goes there. OTOH I don't have a peg, and my HPX fits better your way around (I tried it the other way and it slipped and dinged the paint on the seat tube).
