Took a few years, but I finally got my hands on a mint condition copy of wipEout 2097. Found one in Denmark. (I still curse my friend for sitting on my original copy. Have had to go thru several from different eBay sellers to piece together something that looks new.)
Any justice in the world, the soundtrack should be found in Cyberpunk 2077, too. Still the best.
