  • mmmmmmm pics of cute pets.................

  • Yes but before that, cat sitter just reported to say she think Patch might have wee’d under the bed... not just now as she’d noticed some sort of smell for a couple of days and when she just went looking for her under the bed, the strong smell really got to her...

Why would she do it now? She’d never done it before and she has been fine with my cat sitter the last couple of weeks... hummmm...

  • Has other cat got in?

  • How can I share a video?

Got sent a video of six tabby kittens, with the message that guess which one of my family escaped on a friday night and reappeared on a sunday a little over two months ago? Want a kitten before the non fur kids want to keep them all.

  • Upload to vimeo / youtube etc. or dropbox etc. and embed / share the link here?

  • sounds like a bit of stress to me - mother of the pack has left and Patch is nervous and upset a little. they dont understand that your ARE coming back!
mine used to do a little poo in the corner - just once - even after years of going away for 1 or 2 weeks.

  • But under the bed? Under the bed!!!! UNDER THE BLOODY BED!!!!!

The slight issue I have is that my bed is extremely heavy and my room is fully of stuff so it’s gonna be annoying to have to move a lot of things and by the time I am back, the wed will be like a week old!

  • Not as far as we know.

  • awwww coool that gray tabby is amazing :)

and good luck with pee cleaning :( . ...patch showing how angry with you leaving her !

  • You’re almost lucky. I can’t stop mine crapping and pissing in the garden. We have a huge outdoor litter box, and about an acre of scrub land outside of the garden that she has access too, yet she insists on shitting in the flower beds and destroying the plants. Aargh.

  • have you ever thought - they want you to find it !

  • Bags all packed and almost leaving now... almost!

  • Hope u had a good time in HK. at least today was and yesterday were sunny !

weather has been shit for the last 2 weeks

  • patch will be happy to see you

  • expect a mild look in your direction as you return home and an immediate trot over to Patch's bowl for food.....

  • It’s been raining pretty much everyday since I have arrived... luckily this trip has most been business (not work work but not leisure either)...

I miss Patch and I shall see her very soon!

As for food, I shall arrive home at about 6am so it’s din din time anyway! 🤗🤗🤗

Seriously, any sure way to get ride of dried and days old pee smell? Anyone?

  • What kind of floor is it? For our floorboards, we had success scrubbing them with vinegar and warm water.

  • if its carpet and underlay, try the special sprays/cleaner you can get - failing that Rug Doctor - failing that (and maybe cheaper in the long run depending on the size of the room) - new carpet!

  • Carpet!!! Of course it has to be the hardest to clean material!

  • Landlady won’t do it and I am still plotting to buy so neither of us will want to spend any money on that shitting old carpet...

I think I have some spray that I accidentally bought... will try...

I hope it is just a one off and separation anxiety related rather than any physical issues! 😥

  • Took my cat's in to get a vaccination this morning. Some of you may recall I had a rather traumatic time getting them into the carrier's last time around. This time I just put their breakfast in the carriers, they ran in and I closed the the doors on them. Suckers.

  • thats why we are top of the food chain - although, they will probably wait until your just about home and pee and diarrhoea in the carrier as punishment.............................

  • Oh don't mention diarrhoea to me. Came home last night to discover a strange dried up matting on the kittens head. I didn't realise what it was until I got close to sniff it. Poo on her head. Turns out they had managed to get a sugary biscuit for humans out of its wrapper from our kitchen counter and consume it. Obviously this meant a nice big pile of diarrohea for us, not in the litter tray, but next to it. Nothing like capping off a long day than bathing a poo head cat that doesn't want to be bathed.
