I'm not aware of pro (or anti) coffee shops in Brentford but Shafran in Chiswick (14A Sutton Ct Rd, W4 4NG) mentioned previously offers discounts for people coming by bike (but your route likely won't go past it)

Thanks for the reply,
I did see a reference to Shafran, but as it is up the top end of Sutton Court Road,
it's not that convenient for busses from Ealing.
Still having re-read this thread, I know who/which coffee shop to avoid.

I think the only one to be avoid is outsider tart.. well out the way on the snobwick high road.
