This one does though.

In fact it looks so comfortable, I'm now going to refer to anything in this thread I can sleep in or under a 'house'.

I'd always taken the purpose of the thread as a place to gather and point and laugh at motorists who crash into inanimate objects other than other vehicles. Could the term 'Building' also refer to something which has required the action of building and therefore walls, lamp posts, bus shelters, bridges etc would all be covered.
But unfortunately this would exclude one of my favourite genres of motor vehicle crash. Motorist into tree.. perhaps you could describe nature as building a tree, its a bit like growing ...ish.

Home Bargains might be breaking the "all publicity is good publicity" rule this week

This does make you wonder what his motive was, perhaps a perception of poor treatment by the building firm?

You think?

I'd assumed it was just another builder/interior designer argument that had got out of hand.

Truck with some sort of hydraulic arm has crashed into the raised walkway outside Barbican this morning- cut a good chunk out of it too. Bit of a pain as I walk across it every day.

Not sure if this was crashing into the building or just pulling the cash machine out--probably a bit of both:

In Regent Street, incredibly--apparently after a police chase:

Or you could still go there and get LOADS of free beer. Then blame it on the driver and leaking lines...

They have just posted on Facebook that they are still open and there's 20% off the beer 😀
See ya 🏃 -
• #616
Sorry to see that. Where is it?
-
• #617
Wow. How can they still be open? Looks pretty good unsafe

• #618
More open than usual, I’d say

"The white people carrier". Hence why it wasn't a terrorist act.
The OED says a bridge is "A structure carrying a road, path, railway, etc. across a river, road, or other obstacle."
Also, a bridge doesn't need to have walls. E.g. the Millau Viaduct - no walls. Nobody could conceivably call the Millau Viaduct a building, therefore.
