Not SW but would you consider Catford. The Victorian homes just south of Mountsfield Park have quite sizeable gardens.

I’m born and raised SW london and Catford is too far out for my zone 2 preciousness.
My missus spent a decade in Herne Hill so looking in and around there, so tulse hill, East dulwich (if we’re lucky), Peckham but bathrooms are on the ground floor behind the kitchen so require extension to solve the layout problem, West and upper Norwood, etc..

In same position in SW, other half is from Yorkshire and grew up in fields and countryside and wants a garden, and another room in case we try for little person no.2.
Places that are already modernised are out of our price range and the ones that need doing up are at the top of what we can afford with an extra £50k-£70k to make them work for modern living.
