In same position in SW, other half is from Yorkshire and grew up in fields and countryside and wants a garden, and another room in case we try for little person no.2.
Places that are already modernised are out of our price range and the ones that need doing up are at the top of what we can afford with an extra £50k-£70k to make them work for modern living.

Yes, of course. We've lived in W2 for eight years but want something a bit bigger that doesn't mean uprooting completely and having to start again. And we have new small human that would benefit from a garden.
