The bad things about AstroTurf are;
- the loss of habitat for wildlife
- the use of fossil fuels to create it
- the loss of soil to install it
- the non-biodegradability of it
- the lack of drainage it provides
- the leaching of more plastic into the environment

My old boss ripped up his whole garden and replaced it with Astro turf, went from natural grass to plastic hell, I always suspected he was a sociopath.

- the loss of soil to build the extension so there's room in the house
- the non-biodegradability of the nappies and wetwipes used
- the increased drainage required
- the leaching of more humans into the environment
- the terrifying potential for one more Liverpool fan

The front garden of the house we are buying has it, its not a large patch, about 1m x 1.5m but first thing my other half said when going to view was "that'll be gone immediately"
