Giant graphics / colour schemes have rarely been anything other than overly loud and obnoxious!

Needs darker nipples
I was thinking the nips look banging against the black spokes and rims.
Ditto the chain.
Imagine it in motion...

Wife's bike got a little upgrade thanks to some inspiration from this thread. Happy with the pink base bit the green speckle could have been better and the bar tape isn't definite.

It’s satisfyingly easy to use isn’t it.
Finish on mine is very “unique” ie I got way too giddy with too many layers and now it has a very pronounced texture...
seeems to be pretty bullet proof though, I’ve (accidentally) smashed an Allen key or 5 into the frame without a mark. -

Managed to get the front brake rigged up late last week and put the finishing touches to it Saturday morning:

There’s still a few superficial things I need to sort, like the brake hose retention clip on the fork

How does it handle dude? As you may have seen in CP I’m on the low key look out for a frame that handles like a road bike rather than a gravel bike but that will take fatty rubbers.

Went for a spin Saturday afternoon and was very very pleased to say I’ve achieved most of what I hoped to:
- better shifting
- better braking
- better gearing
Still a little dissapointed in the Fork mess up, and the fact I couldn’t run the RED eTap cranks, but will keep an eye out for a suitable fork replacement, and the Rotor 3D+ BB30 cranks are spaced perfectly for the wide chainstays.

That’s the exact reason I like this.
It’s noticably longer than the CAAD12 for example, but when you’re ploughing along at 40kph+ it feels like a road bike.
I guess that’s partly due to the way I’ve set it up quite aggressively. Will be able to confirm this after a few more Maidenhead commutes, and likely some winter road bike duties as the weather deteriorates, but it reminded me on Saturday how much fun and how comfortable a road bike can be if you set it up with some comfy bar tape and big tyres(40psi), with the added benefit of ear to ear grins throwing it down 25% gravel/mud/leafy hills at 55kph+ realising you’re probably a little bit out of control should any braking be required, as this is not tarmac!

It is indeed - “Elaston”
It’s not overly soft but is a strange and different kind of soft compared to the SWorks version, cant really describe it, but it’s comfy.
