So I had to get back in touch with Velo Orange about my cracked guard today as I'd heard nothing from Practical
CyclesPsychos, seems like they'd told VO that they'd tried to contact me a few days ago but had no reply.I checked my email including junk and trash folders incase I'd missed something and there was nothing.
VO offered to pass on my contact details to PC so I agreed and I got an email from PC saying that they'd tried to contact me but I hadn't replied so I had one last chance to reply to them but that VO wouldn't do anything under warranty because of the issue with the damage when they were delivered. I'd already told VO about the damage and how it was in a totally different area and they hadn't said anything about that voiding the warranty so I copied VO in on my reply and what do you know, PC suddenly became a lot more helpful!
Hmmm yeah but VO have said they’re gonna sort me out so,

It’s gonna be funny, I bought the guards off Practical Cycles via eBay and they arrived squashed at one end. I contacted PC to say the packaging was a but rubbish and tell them about the problem but that I reckoned I could just bend it back but wanted to inform them 1st as if they didn’t bend back I’d want replacements. They gave a snarky reply saying their packaging was fine (it wasn’t) and that if I damaged them it’d be on me or something.
In the end I did manage to fix them but I left neutral feedback for the sale and then got a few really snarky messages from PC and subsequently found I was blocked from buying from them.
Bet they’ll be gutted when VO tell them to send me a new set of guards for free!
