Hoping that I’ve reached the final version of my flat bar functional. Been through 3 frames before this, each superseded by one with bigger tyre clearances. The Thorn that was last was excellent, but I needed more volumes.
Need to fit a goat link, level rack and cut steerer. Apparently @mdcc_tester does some skinny headset spacers?

Proper. Is this getting guards or no?

Yes, 31.8mm OD for 28.6mm steerers, in stock in black anodised or raw aluminium in heights of 1mm, 2mm, 4mm , 8mm & 16mm

No guards, got Brompton for wet weather commuting.
@umop3pisdn that yours? Look smart, will have to visit the tester thread and place an order. I’m keeping my topcap tho, had it for 20 years.

Do you do custom spacers (length wise), could I have a single massive spacer? (Happy to wait for a later batch) #scoblestack

I've got On-one Mary bars - love them. On my pub bike.
LoveMud Fu-Manchu bars (no longer available) on my 29er - also love them.
And a set of Stash bars (https://road.cc/content/review/45884-gusset-stash-bars) that were on my 29er and will go on something else soon.See also this:

I could, in theory. It would be a long wait though.

Like a month, a quarter or a decade?

a month, a quarter or a decade?
About a year based on current stock and rate of sales.

Absolute beaut.
Henge saddle? How’d you find it? -

I need some metal fixtures for the guard stays, the plastic ones supplied by GB is a joke.

Are those guards Honjo? Proper nice bike.
How did you fit the bolt on the bottom bridge get that good fender line? Any pics?
-
• #19693
They work just fine though don't they?
-
• #19694
Lovely.

Basically. Simworks branded, but they're Honjos.
No pics of that installation. Drilled the hole and toyed with the amount of washers & spacers needed to get the right distance, then bolted it on your usual 4mm bolt.
@PhilDAS Yes, Henge Sport. So far the only Specialized saddle I've found to work. Local shop deals in Specialized so going through them to trial saddles was easiest. Cambium didn't work when I tried it a couple years ago, got a Berthoud Aspen that didn't initially work out but I'll give another go.

I don't trust plastics where there could be side forces in play (thinking if bike falls)
-
• #19697
Cheers, yeah I'm going down that route for sure but I need to dremel out the hole vertically.
Really nice guards for sure!
