Ali express?!? Really? I'll check that... ✊

• #3053
Couldn't find anything on Ali Express but I went to my local outlet monstrosity near the airport and nabbed a cheap Levi's trucker (four pocket, unfortunately) that will do the job perfectly... I've already cut the sleeves off... This is what's going on it...

I got married in a blanket lined Denime Type 1 jacket and a pair of Studio D'Artisans that still feel like they're made of cardboard twenty years later... In May... In Memphis... Bloody stupid idea...

Not sure if it is the right place but not completely convinced it needs a classified advert, would anyone be interested in a Naked & Famous "Red, White, & Blue Selvedge Jeans" as in the following link:https://www.heddels.com/2017/02/naked-famous-red-white-blue-twisted-weft-selvedge-jeans/
They are really cool but unfortunately a bit too small for me (bougtht a size smaller than another one from them but only worn a couple of times - not convinced that it will stretch enough). It is a shame as it has really cool details with tricolor sewings as in the pictures of the link.
I have them in size 31, paid 160£ for it in december 2017, only worn a couple of times.
Asking for 100£, PM if interested. If it needs a separate classified advert, please let me know and I will create it

Only worn for Royal weddings and births?
What fit are they?
-
• #3060
Not sure I have understood the first bit of your message... sorry!
Regarding the fit, it is the "Weird Guy" series from Naked & Famous (see https://www.nakedandfamousdenim.com/fit-guide) which is described as a standard tapered fit (mostly regular from waist to knee and then tapered I guess)
Edit: said "I guess" as I am not fully convinced by all the brands descriptions of the cuts/fits in general

Has anyone here got a pair of jeans from https://blackhorselane.com/
Is the quality good compared to Hiut for comparison, I like the slightly lower cost for Selvage and i'm working close to the factory, should I curtail my temptation to grab a pair?
Thanks -

anyone have experience with the Iron heart XHS 25ox jeans? I need to get mine hemmed up a little.
are they likely to lose much length on the first soak/ wash?

Have Uniqlo stopped making their Selvedge jeans in the slim taper cut?
Went into a few of the stores and couldn’t find any. They only had slim straight.

Call Rivet and hide. They’ll know the truth. And they’re super helpful.

Nerding out here but just realised it’s the two year anniversary of these Warehouse 1939 Montgomery Ward’s. An original pair of these actual Montgomery Ward’s from 1939 sold fairly recently for £8500. Lol.

I always wanted a pair of Warehouse back in my denim geek days but they were almost impossible to find in London back then... Very nice...
My mate picked up a pair of Warehouse XX that were the thickest denim I've ever seen, couldn't tell you what weight they were but they were ridiculously heavy... He had a guy in Japan stitch an arcuate and big E red tab in them, they were wonderful... Much denim envy...

Ah I had completely forgotten about Monkey Wards. Old US retailer that was like like Sears. They folded a long time ago a long, long time ago.

These are only 14oz, but that’s why I love them. For the first time, to acquire the kind of mid century fade that I wanted (pretentious I know), I’ve just treated them like a normal garment. Machine washed them before I even wore them, wash them maybe every few months instead of never. They’re ridiculously soft and comfortable and the construction is fantastic. By comparison, I bought a pair of Pherrow’s back in March because I don’t want these to disintegrate and the quality bevetween them is night and day - there was a £70 difference in price but still. The value I’ve had out of these Warehouse’s has been incredible.
Here’s the original pair of Montgomery Ward’s I mentioned: http://vintage-mushroom.net/?pid=131815950
This particular pair have a star on them do commemorate the centennial of Texan independence. -

Since Clutch Cafe opened, due to their reach and influence in Japan, everyone in Japan seems to be doing exclusives for them and they’re all really, really good.
Warehouse discontinued the 700’s a long time ago but they’ve just made 50 pairs of 700’s and named them 700C (C for Clutch). Picked a pair up yesterday. Fantastico. Also came with this denim wash, also made by Warehouse. It smells like fresh lemonade 🤤

What is your budget?
I've got a newer Type 1 that I don't wear as much for some reason. It's stiff as board and is taking years to break in. Might start sleeping in it. On a bench.
