This. Love Moeen.

How many England wickets will fall before stumps?
-
• #6355
We survived four overs, enough to get trollied in celebration

• #6356
Nicely balanced Test and Lancs got a win!

Great win at that!

Moeen and Curran demonstrate why they were brought back in. I’m unsure about Stokes given his knee issues but he batted ok and got a few overs in yesterday. YJB just doesn’t look comfortable and really not sure why we didn’t rest him for the 5th test and keep Pope in or bring in someone else.
Cool has been averaging 17 (excluding his 244 NO) over the past 25 matches so both him and Keaton could do with getting a score. As could we!

Also thought Pujara played really well, the sort of innings I’d love to see from a couple of English players. Dogged and well balanced, fair play to the guy and setup a cracking 2nd innings battle

Papering over the cracks. Hopefully Livingstone coming back will give them a lift and keep them up.
Beating Yorkshire would be a sweet way to take a step towards survival.
All thre games are away from god’s own county though.

That shot from YJB was absolute cack

This is the first time in years I have listened to a few days of TMS in a row. I had forgotten what a pleasure it is.
I am already looking forward to tomorrow's broadcasting mixture of tension and sanguine inaction.

Good partnership from these two

Doing OK I guess, Sammy boy to give it a good tap tomorrow I guess.

That’s a good lead. Think India will struggle to chase anything around 250, but with Kohli, who knows.

Buttler top scorer for England in this series with Curran 2nd. Big fan of Joss and think he’s shown his mettle this series. My question would be are either he or YJB good enough as a specialist batsman - and I think he’s shown that he’s better than the other options we’ve tried (Vince, malan) but still think our lineup doesn’t look right.

245 looks gettable.
Andersom owes the team a couple of quick wickets after the 1st innings o'fer and running out Curran. -

Both good enough as specialist batsmen.
Bairstow has issues with his technique he needs to look at with a coach, as he did at the start of his career. He falls over towards the offside too much at the moment.
They’re both made of the right stuff.

India’s biggest fourth innings run chase is 179.

Apart from the 406 they got to beat the West Indies in the 70s.

Andrew Samson (stats bloke) had been talking about records in the "SENA" countries (South Africa, England, NZ, Australia).

Thanks Statto.
Maybe that stat is away from home or in England then.
