One day people will look back on Waterworld with the same appreciation and critical assessment as Starship Troopers.

The sideboob in Waterworld was a memorable part of my formative years.

The remarkable thing about Jeanne Tripplehorn, is that she reminded me about Mickey Blue Eyes which, in all likelihood, I'll watch tonight.

So I’ve got a 20” wheel with a 1.75 tyre on and a fork with a standard front brake mount. Are my caliper options really only shitty dia compe Bulldog or 806 type calipers? I always remember these types of brakes being so bad from early bmx days but from searching I can’t find anything better.
-
• #93217
I've no personal experience of either but I would think the 806 being dual pivot should be the better performing brake.

That or track brake or get a welder.

7800 chainset on a pf30 BB: should there be a spacer behind the nds crank? Pioneer left hand power sensor is fouling the nds chainstay.

What do you mean by a track brake? Agree welding canti studs would be great but haven’t really got the time for that.

Anyone would know if the splined sprockets made by Victoire are compatible with ENO eccentric hub? I reckon there is no chance at alle considering bike industry does not even think of making things compatible, but who knows
-
• #93222
A quick google indicates the V sprocket has a bajillion (16) splines whereas the WI one has 12.

Does anyone know if new 105 hydro levers will be compatible with the previous version’s calipers and derailleurs? Cheers

Please can someone tweet or facebook or whatever for me as I don't do any social media?
At 6.00 pm this evening I recovered a Dawes Galaxy from the side of the eastbound entry slip at junction 6 M4. It seems to have fallen off a vehicle and bounced but apart from a twisted brake lever and bars and a ripped pannier it seems fine. The owner will know what confectionery was in one of the panniers and where it came from. I saw it there at one-ish and when I left work I decide I couldn't have left it there any longer as the area is plagued with villainy.
I'm going to report it to Slough police in a couple of minutes.
Any assistance gratefully received. -

My mum needs a new phone as her Note 3 doesn't work properly anymore so she (or rather my pops) asked me what phone to get next. Price range is around 350ish and the display should be about the same size.
I was thinking of the Galaxy S8 Plus or maybe iPhone 7 Plus but am out of the smartphone game for a while now. Are other good performing big phones out there to look out for?
Looks like shit flat pack furniture - I wouldn’t trust it with something that big / heavyweight
