This is so it fits the new ultegra/dura ace chainsets, no?
That's a very good point, didn't even know this was a thing. Acycles have emailed TA so will see what they say. Would be a result as it took about 2 weeks for it to come from France so pos a month before I saw a replacement.

great, they're like the gusset ones only a bit narrower and a lot cheaper! I'm going to order some for my dad, they also work well with Ergo grips, if you're so inclined.

Did seriously consider White Industries R30's, but just couldn't spend that much. Cool story bro etc...

Reader's again. No baggage or crooked lowriders, fit mostly sorted, and somewhat clean. Plenty happy with how it's turned out, frankly the only thing it needs is the steerer cut.

Looks likes a super granny ring - does the front mech shift ok?
-
• #19667
it's also designed to fit a cover on it to match the look of the chainset.

• #19668
Long you don't do something ridiculously stupid like ride on small/small for no reason whatsoever.
-
• #19669
Yeah I was looking for those little covers you mentioned when it was delivered but they weren't included. Presumably they're a seperate part but don't mind the exposed look.
After a short ride (before the Gravel Kings let me down, again) the shifting seems great and the 44t recommendation seems spot on. Cheers Ed

Are you talking about the SK version or the file tread one?
-
• #19673
Shifts marvelously. 44/24+11-36, and every gear combination works. Sure to hell won't ever use small/small but hey, good to know it'll still work in a pinch.

Hah, I tour on them and only got one very slow puncture and that when i return home and dig out a tiny little thorn that stuck in the tyres.

@withered_preacher that's a great article, thank you.
