Cheers, that's very useful. I keep being late on the hulsroy stems :(

Is this little clip necessary? It's clipping against the spokes when I brake. Also is the brake caliper meant to be so close to the spokes?

Flip it round so it points inwards.
Or grab the head with pliers and bend it inwards.

Ish. My 755s have the same kind of screw & snap clip, but I've never seen the screw try to back itself out and stop on the clip. It is correctly assembled according to the drawing, and it's meant to have that 90° bend. I expect the M755 snap clip without bend would work just as well and clear the spokes, or you could use the optional split pin (29) instead of the screw (17) and clip (18)

It's fair to say that Shimano do tend to err on the side of caution with their disc brakes. The 755s actually came with cross-drilled heads on the caliper mounting bolts and a roll of lock wire

Will this sideboard support a 130l aquarium?

Question relating to weight not size.

Depends if you’re going to fill it with water I suppose.

Just a tad over 1 kg per litre, for water...
ETA - you might need to relocate the deck. -

I would be concerned that a sideways force would see the shelves collapse. Screw a solid panel to the back to prevent that, probably ok

is there a fishkeeping thread? there should be a fishkeeping thread.
what are you planning on sticking in there?

That is not a lot heavier than me and I would feel comfortable sitting on top of the 5x5 version we have. The tank would likely be better distributed than my are too. But as @Dammit says the problem would be racking and the whole thing wanting to be a parallelogram. Diagonal boards across the back or a solid panel would help.

Assuming because he said "aquarium" and not "fish tank", summink wanky no doubt.

Earlier this week. Needs more Tetra schools. Poecilia wingei male, pleco and another ghostshrimp hiding. Two Poecilia wingei females we bought around the corner from the Kings Arms yesterday to be updated.

Parallelogram are nice.

Not immediate, unwanted parallelograms accompanied by smashing glass and errant swimmy bois.

nice. bang a plecostamus or two in there - should keep the algae manageable providing they don't grow so large they eat your mollies / cat.
/edit - wait, i see you have one.
i'm thinking of putting an Oscar tank together. Never had the stones to go full marine setup - not since i boiled a rather pricey clown trigger to death when i was working in a petshop in my yoot. dark times, not least for the poor fish.

What am I looking at?
A bit late to the party but WD40 on a rag does the business on most sticky sticker stuff.
