A French bike without Berthoud mudguards is a bit of a missed opportunity.

Front L-bracket for GB fenders, where can I buy them?
Or how can I mod something if L-brackets aren't GB standard.
Carbon fork, where the hole in the bottom of the fork is offset (why I do not know) so I only have the brakehole in the fork to mount it on.

Do you mean for rear mudguard? There is this:
Gilles Berthoud Fixing Bracket Set for Rear Fender on Brake Bridge
I don't think front Gilles Berthoud mudguards are designed to be attached with an L-bracket. For the front you use the piece(s) in the down right corner of this picture:
Fork crown Daruma (eye bolt)
Also called Daruma bolt. To attach the front fender under the fork crown.
The brake axle goes through the hole.http://www.gillesberthoud.fr/_en/boutique/fiche.php?CodeArticle=219SIL100
For what it's worth, on my Muddy Fox I've used the L-bracket for mounting the front mudguard. So it works, but this isn't how you/Gilles Berthoud 'meant' to do it.

Yeah, the Daruma doesn't work as the forkcrown hole is offset.
If you've had success in the L-bracket method for the front mudguard, I'm going that route.
Cheers!

One of shops in Poland got -50% discounts on all their Jamis 2017 range. At first I looked at Renegade Exile (but all-alloy frameset discourages me), but I just found that they also have Coda Elite (Reynolds 520 frame with carbon fork and Alivio 3x9 drivetrain) for about 400 GBP - sound like a steal for this setup. Does anybody have any experience with this bike? Especially interested in the tyre clearance with full guards.

This has me sold on buying an old Kona frame .

Fwiw (not a lot), this is a 19 and fits my 6' body extremely well.

Out of curiosity, what do you mean by offset?
A third option (maybe not suitable to you in that case), is to use a reversed star-fangled nut inside the steerer. I had to do this with my GB as I had lots of clearance and it was really solid.

Just fitted a new chainring.... Does the hive mind think this is a Friday afternoon special?
(none of the others 'tabs' are like this)
