It is no longer a grey area case law sorted it, as filtering is legal.
Insurance comapanies (even yours) don't seem to know this. Google puts up a few letters to write to explain, politely, to your (and the other parties) insurance comapny what they should do.
EDIT - Re reading this it may come across a bit shirty, not meant that way.
I’ve heard filtering can be a grey area but good luck getting it sorted!
