• It might be that it's on 38c hyper voyagers (doubtful)

I tried 38c Hypers on my Arkose for one morning (standard wheels), thought they rode like hybrid tyres, dull and slow. Much prefer 38c Paselas.

Had 32c Hypers on a Croix De Fer before and they were ok. Both frames are pretty boring though, and the Arkose has difficulties in going round corners.

  • Yeah, I had 38c tubeless going into a pitch battle with a mig.
pulled 5 gs going round the corners on layhams.

Cannot agree with this - how hard did you pump them up?

I run mine tubeless at between 30 and 40 psi and they're great and not at all slow. I've happily done club runs and plenty of decent paced road rides on mine this summer.

Science backs me up on this too:

Tyres are very personal though. And I should probably try G One Speeds but I'm too tight.
