I didn't know they'd finally come up with a Tasks app:

It's not all there yet, can't share/collaborate with other people at the moment, has promise though.

That never really bothered me about original tasks. I've been using it embedded into gmail for years. I'm trying to get the missus onto it though so collab tasks would be neat.
