They both are very close to a Nike UK director/agent.
Having a few pairs of cycling shoes made per year by DMT is a very cost effective way of showing the swosh in a sport where the brand is not so exposed anymore.
Probably releasing and mass producing cycling shoes is not too profitable for a brand such as this. -

I would kill for a pair of Nike road shoes.

There's probably some 5yo kid in Asia that agrees with that statement.

Aqua Blue apparently not competing in this year's Tour of Britain

Just saw that. So the riders don’t even get the chance to put themselves in the shop window? Very sad for them.
Sounds like the team is flat broke.

Three weeks ago Delaney was talking up "we're going to sign LRP" what a shitshow.
Signing out of the team Whatsapp group to avoid being asked questions by the riders is super classy.

Which is funny... because Rick Delaney said he'd fund the team for the first 4 years
Andy Fenn's wife was also alluding to the fact that the riders found out that they were out of a job via the twitter statement too
Then after announcing a deal with Verandas Willems Crelans when no pen was put to paper, they were getting pissy when it didn't go through.
And finally just the general anger at cycling for not getting invites to big races when few of their results over other PCT teams would warrant said invites.
All points to one thing.... shitty team management

How far is the Vuelta from kilometre 4? It is baking up here but I see why people do it! It is crazy.

You mean when will they be 4km from the end of todays stage?
The breakaway has 34 km to do, peleton is 9 mins 35 seconds behind.

Ben King is up front again...*winces*
-
• #19038
Safer in a breakaway than in the peloton...

Good news for Team Wiggins and pidcock though!

Think some of them were due a ride with the GB team anyway. It's always underwhelmed me as a race (because it doesn't make the most of the roads we have in this country) but the start list is looking good so far.

Not seen Gary Verity congratulating Team Wiggins yet

Di Data win today leaves EF Education as the only WT team without a WT win

Cav is out indefinitely due to Epstein-Barr talk about kicking a man while he is down.

It was also their best result in a WT stage though wasn't it? lolz.

Katusha also by far the very worst of the big budget teams

Sad news :( Definitely not ideal during a contract year... Doesn't make him desirable to other teams, and can Dimension Data afford to offer him an extension when he's not able to race?

EF are currently looking at their best result yet which will be 2nd.
Mollema just got back on the wheel after a puncture so 3rd.

Simo super emotional at the finish.
Melburn trackie skillz.
Cav because he’s a huge star (maybe soon to be ‘was a huge star’) Blythe, I have no idea.
