I've sent her ma3k's link. She ordered a pack of M_V's contacts to try out too.
Today she went back to contacts with normal sunglasses over the top and reckons it was fine. So perhaps the issue is her eyes getting irritated one day and then rejecting contacts the next? I have no idea about contacts so don't know if that can be a thing or not.
