  • Careful not to confuse the ME models, only the ME Super has the option for manual shutter selection. The ME and MEF are apeture priority only. I would also say that from experience using the ME Super in manual mode is somewhat fiddly using the small buttons to cycle through the shutter speeds.

    As for other Pentax bodies your £300 budget should get you an LX body which is the very top of the range. If you're happy with full manual only then an MX would be my suggestion.

    Yea, I know, what I meant was

    Aperture priority (with manual exposure correction if you like)

    ..as in: the camera has aperture priority, but there's a +/- 2EV exposure compensation dial and also you can use the ISO dial to manually tweak the exposure if you like.
