Has he killed an entire family?

I don't know what the fuss is about with the anti-fleaing.
Just grab the cat and hit them with it quick between the shoulder blades, serve a nice wet meal maybe with some extra treats.
I was doing three cats at once each month, it is only a production if you make it one. -

To be fair there are cats that take things like that super easy, and others that act as if it's the end of the world; still agree with what you're saying though.

I usually just grab hold of Patch with my arm firmly and squeeze the tube on her, she hates me for about a day and then she gets hungry and we are best buddies again.
But it does take some practice I guess...

Sometimes the sitter is afraid to hurt the furry beast.

He actually hates fish, refuses to eat any. Very much birds only.

So this morning we're on the sofa and the cat just flops down as usual but started vibrating, for lack of a better word. You could see him shaking as if he was cold but was acting very strangely – couldn't sit still, moving from one spot to another and half laying down and getting up again. His fur was also stood on end all over. After a few minutes, he went to his spot on the kitchen table where he normally sleeps and just passed out. By this point I'm on the phone to the emergency vet line trying to describe the symptoms and preparing myself for him just dying on the table. I opened his eyes and they were semi rolled-back like he was in and out of consciousness. The tremors seemed to have stopped at that point.
Got address of vet, ordered an uber and got his carrier out. He quickly got a lot fucking perkier when he saw the box but was easier than normal getting in. I just did the burrito towel thing.
Vet examined him and said he was about as healthy as cats get. Breathing was fine, heart rate all good, no weird lumps anywhere, bathroom functions are normal etc.
Apparently they can just have random seizures – it can happen once in their life and that's it, or it can be epilepsy or a blood-clot in the rear legs (most likely as he kept adjusting his rear end whilst this was all happening). He's almost 10 years old and doesn't have any conditions (thus far).He was given some opioids in case there was some pain and the all clear to go home with the recommendation that he goes to the normal vet on Tuesday for bloodwork, just to see if that brings anything up.
Now he's as high as a kite, staring at the wall, eating, being sort-of normal which is such a relief. And we're two hundred quid lighter and a bit emotionally drained.

We were at friends today when Dinsdale, Doug’s brother and one of four cats in the house, came in and was pawing at his mouth. I spotted blood on his nose and mouth, and noticed that he couldn’t close his mouth properly. Friend called the duty vet and dashed off with him. Turns out he’s had a bash, banged his jaw and broken an upper incisor. He’s too old for a general (he’s 17) so a big pre-med and a local anaesthetic and the tooth comes out. He’s back home now, and Lois is £403 lighter. Eek.

I ordered one of these Feliway cat spray plug in the wall things last week, which I've just plugged in this evening and I now have two comatose cats. Quite funny to watch. Usually about now they are in full psycho chase the ball around the house mode, but instead they just want cuddles, grooming and sleep. Not even begging for food.
Does this stuff exist for humans!?

• #7820
I’ve never seen a change in either of my two using that stuff

Is the plug in different to the spray?
Do you find it smells a bit wierd?

Good on you for keeping it together.

I'm not sure, but there is no smell from it
I manage to fuck it up every month, mine knows whats going on as soon as get the thing out and runs, I then spend the next day trying to get anywhere near her to try and apply it.
It's getting harder every time, I've got a cat who hates being picked up and/or touched.
