    That and screw vs. bolt.

    I like a bit of pedantry as much as the next man, but testers riding fixed are said to be "on the cog", and if you don't call the IS2000 mount sprockets "bolt-on" because they are attached with screws, then you end up calling them "screw-on", which would be confusing. On the other hand, if you're getting together the flaming torches and pitch forks over the misuse of ISO when people mean IS2000, count me in 🙂

    Quite, hence the "pedant" qualification.

    But the experience of being "schooled" by an ex-Ford toolmaker, is not one I'll readily forget.
