If it’s any help I wear Air Optix Night and Day monthlies.
I moved to them from dailies as I wanted something I could wear for longer periods if I went overnight camping for instance, so I didn’t have to take lenses out at night and put them
in in the morning with unwashed hands.I very rarely actually go camping or anything but I like these lenses way better than the dailies. They are a bit stiffer which I find is actually a positive, they’re so much easier to put in than the dailies and they’ve pretty much never folded up in my eye or been blown out while cycling or motor biking which did happen with dailies.
Also I can wear them for like 36-48 hours without my eyes feeling irritated or dried out.
You still wearing contacts for cycling?
We're trying to sort out something for the missus so she's not straining her neck looking over her stupid fashion glasses. Looked into prescription glasses but she was told to try contacts:
Monthly Air Optix Aqua
Daily AcuVue Moist
Daily Silicone Hydrogel sphere test pack from Boots
Not really getting on with them - this morning one of them was annoying her so much she pulled them both out and wore glasses but yesterday she wore the same type for ~12hrs (maybe too long and it irritated her eye?). I know fuck all about contacts so can't help her but you lot might be able to suggest some other brands/styles to try?
