Strong running from all upthread as always, chapeau!!
I came to bitch about stinging nettles. Context: I'm not being a wimp here, I get stung and scratched a lot, running through overgrown footpaths will do that, I'm pretty used to getting stung or caught by brambles and getting on with it. It's not a big deal, sometimes the stings tingle for the rest of the day but that's it.
But fuck me today my legs are a tingly hurty mess several hours after finishing my run. Do the stings get worse as the season goes on or something? I have no outward signs of the stings but never had pain like this. Probably my karmic payback for traipsing across several fields and climbing over fences in search of the footpath I was sure should be there (it was on the other side of the road heading in the other direction to me and I was very lost). Bastard nettles.
