  • Yeah mate. Really odd that nobody else wanted to get involved.

  • wafc. Get over yourself; learn from your mistakes; accept criticism.

You escalated a situation to a point that put you, and others, in danger because you were too petty to realise it wasn't worth it. Maybe learn from that and don't get caught up in unnecessary beef here.

  • Stay classy dude!

  • Anyway.
What's that feeling when you've taken a bike to a shop, one you thought "hmm, not sure about them, but it's a simple job to put the cranks back on" and then about a week of riding around your cranks suddenly stop wanting to turn? And you take it to the shop you should have gone to?

  • Shopaholic in denial?

  • Anyway, Edwardes just rang back:
    It's fixed.

  • Had a nice fresh ride in this morning and a white van man actually stopped and politely waved me out because he realised he had overshot his turn a bit, which I appreciated rather than him squeezing past my leg.
Bad time going home though; some wanker in a white BMW (tautology?) was laying on his horn and screaming at me because he couldn't overtake towards Crouch End, and then worst of all the can of beer I bought earlier pinged out of the side of my saddlebag and popped in the road literally 50m from my lockup. NOOOOOOOO

  • 1st for me last night. Fella on a penny farthing heading east on Upper Thames Street CS. Some sort of top hat aswell. Chapeau mate, you put a smile on my face.

  • Awesome Q1 friends made ladt night & this morning: Margaret new to SE with whom I rode through Deptford to help resolve a Q1 - Lewisham route gap. This AM David, Hungarian guy from Deptford, saying hi and nice to meet you is a good thing most of us forget to do.

    Peace!

  • Got over taken by a guy in jeans and flip flops this morning on some kind of diy ebike. I was going at 20mph ish and he came passed me like I was stood still. I tried to keep up but had no hope, the thing was shifting and he was just soft peddling.

  • Saw a geezer in peckham with a lawnmover size engine on his mountain bike and some dangerous looking motorbike chain connecting it all up! Was loud as fuck but he was absolutely hammering it! still only had cantilever brakes haha

  • only my cat-like reflexes saved me from being taken out by an amputee on a powder-blue Pendleton at the top of Amwell St: "SORREE BABES SORREE!" [she wobbled off into oncoming traffic] lolfridays

  • Q1 Chat today with a lad from Leicester who was a bit surprised I managed to guess this. He started grooving to my shitty phone speaker belting out LFO, I started the chat with ‘mate you don’t look old enough to know this, I was there and can’t remember any of it’

  • A bit like when I’m in a massive autitorium of some sort (like when at a Prom the other day) I have this urge to break the silences in life - when as large group of cyclists waiting at lights, most stare straight ahead and positively flinch if a bumpkin riot gob like mine starts. Can’t help it #attentionseeker

  • why havent I seen you on Q1? I am riding EVERY DAY.

  • what track from LFO? in my head I'm hoping we are back : )

  • massive autitorium

    Was this an Oasis gig?

  • Debussy, Boulanger and Ravel. A Belter.

  • There’s only one LFO track in my 1990 world. It’s called LFO.

Same true of Leftfield, FSOL, Orbital, Underworld, all them guys made one decent tune - the first one. The rest is just meh.

  • I am avoiding you and your goggles.

  • Narrr LFO frequency l.p.is good but all the rest yeah
