I miss Patch and I have only been away for 5.5 days. Life is sad without my Patch!

And my cat sitting friend isn’t giving me any updates other than saying how nervous she is with the monthly flea drop that should happen right about now!

I miss Patch!!!!! I want to go home to where my Patch is! :-(

How could anyone fuck up apply a simple flea drop onto a cat with very detailed instruction?

Is my cat now at risk of getting flea? It’s the last tube before her annual vet visit and I am in a different country for another 2 weeks!

Honestly, how can someone fuck up such simple thing?

Thanks but I think we have narrowly avoided a disaster... she sent me a pic of the area of the back of her neck, it’s not a total poop poop, there is at least some so she should be OK as her tubes are for 4-7kg cats and she is just over 4kg, so...

But when I get back to London, you are welcome to pop round to be ignored by the princess! 🤭

dont get angry at the Sitter - a real proper owner would have got a decent sitting service, at least 3 people, complete with multiple past references and cat based interview - and at least one of them male that can pee outside.......

EDIT: and i dont mean 3 people to interview, 3 people to sit all at the same time! ;-)

Was almost late for work because I stopped to fuss over a kitten cleaning itself on the wall. It had a collar on but looked a bit young to be outside; thought they were supposed to be about 6 months old before you let them out? This one looked about 3 months judging by its little skinny legs and head/eyes proportions.

Oh to be ignored by such beauty.

Yeah proper owner never leaves her furbaby eva....

Great reason to be late, if I was your boss I would give you a long lunch and home early too.

i'd fire him/her for not taking a pic on phone to show work colleagues

Do you know what, I actually have 3 people - 1 sitting female and 2 standby males that she doesn’t know about. The human female not the cat.

And if I have to have a Patch based interview, I’d have nobody to looking after her, she is pretty much a 1 person cat and she doesn’t like, but would put up with if she has to, other humans...

I have a very complicated cat who is not that people friendly. Unlike black cat upstairs, he’s let you rub his belly for 1 dreamie...

She knew when I was leaving... It was as a very sad moment for both human and cat... ☹️

@lynx, I had thought about claiming Patch as my emotional support animal and so I would be able to take her onto the plane with me... but then I thought it might be a little too emotionally distressed for her if I did... 🤷🏻‍♀️

Yeah I should have gotten a picture but realised I was going to have to start sprinting to work and dashed off. A stranger took a picture of me stroking the cat though which I thought was a bit weird.

I just brushed Higgs, now the 24 hour sulking period begins.

Never thought of that, I am not boss material.

There is a reason I like her so much...

I like animals more than people as animals are 'honest' about what they want.

I think she just puts up with me and constantly thinking “you will do for now...” as I do provide her with a life of a princess... if it ever stops...

patch is already plotting and sharpening them claws 😸

I figured that. She sometimes just runs her claws on my tight with sitting on me. Never quite deep enough to break any skin but she is certainly showing me who’s boss!
