Hameed needs to go and play club cricket for a year to sort his game out.
A winter playing grade level in Australia away from any pressure might be the best thing for him.

I think Jennings should be given the rest of the series. Just to make sure that he isn’t an opener for England if nothing else . I can’t see his weird front foot ‘assumption’ movement changing, but it’s not held him back for Lancs (I know, I know) and I reckon he can be part of a ‘modern’ opening pair, if he keeps his head on, which the top 6 cant seem to do atm.

I think it was worth giving Jennings another whirl but I'm surprised they haven't gone for Burns.
Mind you I'd still like them to go back and bring in Hameed (I know he's not in form) but I'd back him.
