There should only have been one!

Can't make my mind if 3 was worse that 2 or just differently bad. 2 was batshit stupid, 3 was the trailer for 1 padded with 3 hours of soft music and scenes of the countryside.

Highlander 2
I actually worked on Highlander 5: The Source...if you think it's bad watching a bad movie once, try watching it in detail for months...

Wait, what? There's a Highlander 5? I heard there was a Highlander 3 but having paid actual money to see Highlander 2 I was not about to make that mistake again. But 5 (and presumably 4)? Who is watching these things? How do they make money? Why do they hate us so much?

Speak to the Hellraiser franchise.

they get to a point where even the cunts making them realise how ridick it is getting, so they stop with the numbers and start with shit like "kickboxer: redemption"

ridick
cf. Riddick.
Also shit sequels.
Although the first film was also a bit shit.

Man falls into hole painted black. I assume this was caused by a large bird running straight over the hole yelling "meep meep!"

Very sad.
To take away a cultural place where people can escape the nightmare situations that occur makes me so sad,'Our memories have vanished': the Palestinian theatre destroyed in a bomb strike

That follows the zoo, the airport, the main football stadium, not to mention the numerous children killed over the last few years... you'd think with all the technology we sell them the 'world's most moral armed forces' could aim their weaponry a little better.

If you think it could be in any way accidental, then consider how they managed to hit the centre circle so precisely when they destroyed the national football stadium:

In other 'Britain's friends in the Middle East' news, a woman in Saudi Arabia's liberal, modernising regime is facing the death penalty for 'participating in protests'.

Not to worry, I'm sure Theresa May will 'promise to bring it up' next time they're discussing an arms deal.

The Tories are getting more money from dead members than live ones:

But the year on year drop in membership fees is encouraging though. I guess the inverse correlation between fewer members and increased legacy contribution is for pretty obvious reasons, but nice to know the the conversion rate still isn’t pound for pound.

• #53742
What's with the sudden increase in legacy donations. From £301,000 in 2016 to £1,697,000 in 2017.
What happened there?
Interesting to note that the dept. chairman of the conservatives steps in to suggest that bulk of memberships are accounted for at local association level.

Someone rich died?

bowie was a tory?
-
• #53745
Hah, yes, maybe so. And only a couple of paupers popped their clogs in 2016 I suppose.
Would be interesting to see the trends in this - maybe legacy donations generally outstrip membership fees. Who knows.
Oh wait - aren't the figures here - 2017 - all a bit out of whack because there was a General Election?
I suspect there may be some creative accounting going on here.

Is that a photo of Richard Nixon on Kissinger's table? Together they organised the campaign to bomb Cambodia "back to the stone age" and supported genocide in Bangladesh etc. Kissinger was smart enough to keep his job when Nixon was forced to resign. I wonder what he is teaching our Jeremy?
