Yes not much options when you want petrol and 4wd. Volvo and Subaru are definitely the two main hitters.
Nothing against an SUV, I have the outlander now, which is awful and although is 4wd, would never use it. I grew up with discoveries and land rovers. Land rovers are too painful to drive and discos are just so damn expensive and break all the time. Guess I could look into things like the Land Cruiser, but still don’t get much for your money, and the other half isn’t keen on driving one either.
She may not be very big, but she comes with a lot of crap!
Think the allroad and superb are both diesels, well in my price range at least.
Good shout on lift kits, will have to look into those... managed to smash the underneath of my last car, needed a new auto box at £5.5k, don’t fancy that again!
