Who is that guy? He isn't introduced in the clip - just a random brexit supporter with a fancy moustache and leather necklace?
-
• #13303
the lolsomely monikered Dominic Frisby. i think he refers to himself as a 'comedian'.
-
• #13304
Not sure, but if you read user91922's posts as him it kind of works...

"Northern Ireland businesses trading across the Irish border should contact the Irish government for advice in the event of a 'no-deal', said the Brexit secretary. "
Lel
"Responding to a question about whether there was to be a special arrangement for Northern Ireland, Mr Rabb said: "I think we're saying very loud and clear that we will not allow anything to disrupt the terms of the Belfast agreement. "
What is their (and Labour btw who are also not committing on this, just the customs union won't resolve it) solution then?
-

Labour btw who are also not committing on this
I don't think Labour need to comment on this do they - beyond asking govt what their intentions are. Certainly, I wouldn't speak of it unless I absolutely had to, at which point I'd just refer the question to the Tories
-

Labour are fucked either way.
-

I mean with committing on a solution for Northern Ireland. Labour seems to pretend that just being in the EU customs union (which they now back) is going to solve the border checks issues. As in, barely any. That is not true.
Of course the Tories caused this, but Labour has no solution either until they back staying in the CU and the SS. Then that is the border sorted.
But no Labour rather wants to limit freedom of movement. I guess I expect too much of them, it is politics as usual. Divert. Don't commit, as commitments mean it is back to "yes minister" situations.

HSJ reporting that the government is not asking the NHS to stockpile medicine. Or rather, not to sock up on unnecessary local stockpiling, whatever that means.

Yes, I don't really know what that means, either. :)
-
• #13322
Not stock up on socks?
-
• #13323
Even assuming that should read 'stock' it still leaves open the question of what local stockpiling is necessary.
