Yeah she's a looker. I stop whatever I'm doing whenever she enters the room and watch. My other half is starting to worry.

Me neither. Such a psychopath. It's making me seriously considering keeping mine indoors.

I have my sister's cat for just over a week. I like cats, and I very much like this one. but they don't half make a mess. I don't understand how there can be kitty litter in every room and all the way up the stairs. or drool and bits of food spread around half the kitchen. and the fluff! I'm constantly sweeping fluff.
It's just a bit bizarre because I'm pretty sure I'm not really a clean freak. I also don't really remember the constant fluff from when we had a cat when I was growing up (similar types of cat/fluffiness). I guess you just get used to it...

I could stuff a duvet with the amount of floof I get off this one every week. God knows how she’s not bald.

I’m afraid this isn’t a very happy post. My parents cat Hobbes was hit and killed by a car today :’( he was only about 18 months old. I’m still in shock - just had a call from my dad. He was such a sweet cat - chatty, affectionate, actually sat on our laps occasionally (their previous cat was very much not a lap cat).. he came and stayed with me a few times and was so well behaved even though he couldn’t go outside here. My parents live on a little cul de sac and it’s a few gardens to the (not very busy) main road, but people do drive quite quick along it. I guess he was just unlucky :( I’m going to miss him so much! RIP Hobbes x

Awful news. Hobbes sounds like he was an ace cat.

Indeed he was. We’ve never lost one at this sort of age before - was expecting he’d be with us for another 10-15 years. Thanks for understanding, needed to share.

It's definitely tough when they're so young but I'd take comfort in knowing that he spent his days being spoilt and cared for, even if there weren't as many days as you'd like.

Understand the feeling, I’m still upset about Clive who was a bit older than Hobbes but not old enough.

Don't think it is ever easy.
Little furry asshats burrow in to our hearts, then leave a massive hole when they leave.
Didn’t realise it was that prolific
Bloody hell
