That is frigging sweet. About time someone did something like that! Sounds like they aren't going to sell them publicly/on the internet/whatever which is a real shame

OK good point, there is more than one good OTP option. But they're even more expensive and don't go as low. And my friend has had to send his back under warranty for a mysterious creaking, perhaps cracked somewhere. Good for certain people though.
Middleburn + MTB cranks also options.
I needed something quite specific, GXP subcompact for a road BB and the only reasonably cheap option I found was a triple bodge, which is working just fine aside from that it's ugly. I am only prepared to spend about the price of a bash guard on de-uglifying it, if it costs more than that I'll just live with it
