Culture works when it's shared, appreciated and imitated, yes. Not so much when it's stolen, misrepresented and exploited.

Again, not really saying that. Nothing wrong with sharing, imitating, mixing, developing culture between people, it's basically how things work. This is different because some twat is exploiting something specific, getting it wrong and trying to make money out of it.
